How do we know God desires a relationship with us?

Throughout scripture, particularly in verses such as Isaiah 26:20 and Matthew 11:28, God extends invitations to us, calling us to rest and be in communion with Him. This shows His deep longing for a personal relationship with His creation. The biblical narrative consistently emphasizes God's readiness to respond to our calls, suggesting that He is always present, waiting for us to seek Him. As demonstrated in Song of Solomon, where the lover seeks companionship, we too are encouraged to invite Jesus into the various aspects of our lives, affirming His commitment to us as His chosen people.
