How do we know God desires worship?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture reveals that God desires worship from His people, which is expressed through our drawing near to Him.

In Exodus 30, we see that God structured worship around the tabernacle, promoting a system where His people could approach Him and worship Him. The tabernacle served as a physical manifestation of God's desire to dwell among His people and to be worshipped. Additionally, in Hebrews 10, believers are encouraged to draw near to God with sincere hearts and full assurance of faith. This illustrates that God earnestly desires a relationship with us, which is fundamentally expressed through worship.
