How do we know God directs our worship?

The direction of our worship lies in the work of the Holy Spirit who prompts and guides believers to seek God. In the case of the wise men, their journey to worship Jesus illustrates how God lays a desire in the hearts of individuals to seek Him out. As seen in the transference of worship from angels to shepherds and then to Gentiles, this showcases God's inclusive plan for salvation. Individuals orchestrated by God are drawn to realize the truth of Christ, leading them to worship Him in spirit and truth, as noted in John 4:24.
