How do we know God does not need our worship?

Answered in 1 source

God does not need our worship as He is self-sufficient and sovereign, as seen in Acts 17:25.

In Acts 17:25, the Apostle Paul declares that God 'is not worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything.' This illustrates God's self-sufficiency; He does not rely on our offerings or service to fulfill Himself. Everything we have comes from Him, including our ability to worship. Any service or sacrifice we offer is effective only when it stems from His grace and gift. As John 4:24 states, God seeks worshippers who worship Him in spirit and truth, indicating that true worship must be a response to His initiative, not an attempt to meet a need.
