How do we know God draws people to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

God draws people to Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit, effectively teaching and creating a desire for Him (John 6:45).

God's drawing is not arbitrary but is grounded in His desire to save His elect. As Jesus explains in John 6:45, 'Every man that hath heard and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.' The process of being drawn involves God imparting understanding and a desire in our hearts. This teaching may happen in ways that are subtle or profound, creating an undeniable urge to seek Christ. It highlights God's sovereignty in salvation, as those whom He teaches effectively cannot help but come to Him, managing to overcome their natural resistance to grace.
