How do we know God exists before our birth?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that God created each person with purpose, declaring, 'For I know the plans I have for you' (Jeremiah 29:11).

The Bible consistently affirms the sovereignty of God in the creation and sustenance of life. Ecclesiastes presents the perspective that life, including the time to be born, is orchestrated by God's will and divine purpose. In Jeremiah 1:5, God states to Jeremiah, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.' This indicates that God's knowledge and purpose for individuals exist before their physical birth. Furthermore, it emphasizes God's sovereignty over our lives, asserting that our existence is not by chance but by divine design, and that His plans are eternally rooted in His wisdom and grace.
