How do we know God fills us with hope?

Our knowledge of God's filling of hope comes from His covenant promises and faithfulness. As stated in Scripture, God has declared His thoughts toward us are of peace, and He has purposed our good from the beginning (Jeremiah 29:11). He is a covenant-keeping God, which assures us that His mercies are new every morning and that His redemption is plenteous. Thus, when we believe in His promises and character, our hope abounds, empowering us to trust God for ourselves and our brethren, confident in His ability to sustain us and achieve His purpose in our lives.
