How do we know God has called us out of darkness?

1 Peter 2:9 states that God has called His people 'out of darkness into His marvelous light.' This transformation signifies that all believers experience a radical change when they come to faith in Christ. The power of God is essential in bringing us out of spiritual darkness, which is reflected in passages such as Acts 26:18 and 2 Corinthians 4:4-6. The process of awakening and enlightenment is not something we can accomplish on our own but is entirely the work of the Holy Spirit.
