How do we know God has not forgotten us during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

God's promises and nature assure us that He has not forgotten us.

In difficult times, believers may feel abandoned or unnoticed by God, much like the biblical figures who questioned God's presence during their suffering. However, we are reminded through Scripture of God's steadfast promises. In Isaiah 40:31, God assures us that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. This illustrates that even when we feel distant from Him, His faithfulness remains constant. We can trust that God’s timing and reasons for our trials are ultimately for our good and His glory, as He works in ways we cannot always see.
