How do we know God has spoken?

Answered in 1 source

God has spoken through the prophets in the Old Testament and ultimately through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The certainty that God has spoken is established in Scripture. In Hebrews 1:1-2, we learn that God communicated in various ways throughout history, primarily through the prophets of the Old Testament, such as Moses, Isaiah, and others. This revelation culminated in the New Testament through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is described as the brightness of God's glory and the exact image of His person (Hebrews 1:3). The events of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection serve as the final and ultimate communication of God's will and purpose for humanity, affirming that God has not remained silent but has revealed Himself fully through His Son.
