The Bible confirms God's healing through Jesus, as seen in various accounts of miraculous healings throughout the Gospels.
The healing ministry of Jesus is a significant aspect of the Gospels, where we observe Him healing the sick, blind, and even raising the dead. The account of Simon's mother-in-law is a perfect example, as it demonstrates Jesus standing over her and rebuking the fever, resulting in her immediate recovery. This power to heal affirms His authority as the Son of God and showcases His compassion for the afflicted. In addition to physical healing, Jesus also offers spiritual healing through the gospel, which is proclaimed as the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). We find throughout the Scriptures that the healing of both body and soul is fundamentally linked to the identity and mission of Jesus Christ as our Savior.
