We know God heals us through His promises in Scripture and through the finished work of Christ who takes away our bitterness.
God’s promise to heal is encapsulated in His name Jehovah Rapha, as seen in Exodus 15:26. Here, God assures the Israelites that if they heed His voice and keep His commands, He will not bring upon them the diseases seen in Egypt, affirming His role as their healer. Moreover, Christ's sacrificial death, where He absorbed our bitterness and sin, represents ultimate healing for believers. The healing that God provides is both physical and spiritual; thus, we trust in His continual presence and grace that sustains us through life’s trials. Ultimately, this healing is a reflection of His mercy and faithfulness.
