How do we know God honors those who serve Him?

In John 12:26, Jesus teaches that anyone who serves Him will be honored by the Father. This affirmation provides assurance that our efforts in serving God are recognized and rewarded in ways that far exceed earthly honors. Serving the Lord aligns our motives with His will and brings us into a closer relationship with Him. When we actively follow Christ and uphold His teachings, we not only honor Him but also are promised divine acknowledgment and blessings that carry an eternal weight and significance, reinforcing the notion that obedience to God's will is foundational to receiving His grace.
