How do we know God is a deliverer?

God's role as deliverer is a consistent theme found throughout the entirety of Scripture. In both the Old Testament and the New Testament, He is shown to be the one who saves His people in times of distress. From the plagues in Egypt leading to the Israelites' deliverance to the calming of the storm in the New Testament, these accounts highlight God's sovereignty and ability to save.
