How do we know God is able to fulfill His promises?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness throughout Scripture assures us that He is able to fulfill His promises.

In Hebrews 11:19, it is stated that Abraham considered that God was able to raise Isaac from the dead. This understanding of God's omnipotence undergirds our faith. Throughout the biblical narrative, God has shown His capacity to fulfill His promises, whether to Abraham regarding a great nation or to believers regarding salvation through Christ. By reflecting on past acts of faithfulness, we can trust that God will remain true to His word, even amid seemingly impossible circumstances.
