God's ability to help and comfort us is assured in Hebrews 2:18, where it states that He Himself was tempted and can provide aid.
In Hebrews 2:18, we read that 'For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succor them that are tempted.' This passage emphasizes that Christ experienced the full weight of human suffering and temptation, and because of this, He is qualified to offer help and comfort. Our Savior understands our struggles intimately, having faced them Himself.
