How do we know God is as the Bible declares Him to be?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God is as the Bible declares because the Scriptures are a divinely inspired revelation of His character and nature.

God is understood to be as He is revealed in Scripture. According to the sermon, without the Bible, we cannot know God's attributes with certainty; we could only speculate. The Bible clearly presents God as Creator, holy, just, sovereign, and immutable. As believers, we affirm these truths expressed in the Scripture because our understanding of God is grounded in His divine revelation. If someone claims to know God but contradicts the Bible, they are not acknowledging the true and living God, as the Scriptures provide a foundation for all our beliefs about Him.
