How do we know God is faithful and true?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness is demonstrated through His unchanging promises and actions throughout history.

The faithfulness and truth of God are evident in His consistent character and the fulfillment of His promises. Throughout the Scriptures, we observe that God does not merely hope to fulfill His promises but guarantees their completion. Revelation 3:14 refers to Christ as 'the faithful and true witness,' affirming His reliability. In every historical account, including God's deliverance of Jerusalem from Sennacherib, we see God's sovereignty and faithfulness in action. These examples provide assurance to believers that God's word is steadfast, encouraging them to trust in His provision and care.
