How do we know God is faithful during temptation?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness during temptation is a promise that He will always provide a way to escape.

In moments of temptation, believers can take comfort in the truth that 'God is faithful' (1 Corinthians 10:13). This means that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our strength. He provides a way of escape, which is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. God's faithfulness reflects His unchanging nature and commitment to His promises. In Lamentations 3:22-23, we read, 'It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed; His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.' This assurance helps us trust God to strengthen us during our trials.
