How do we know God is faithful in our troubles?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness is displayed through His promises and past actions, allowing us to trust Him in times of trial.

The assurance of God's faithfulness comes from His immutable nature. In Isaiah 43:1-5, God reminds His people that they belong to Him and need not fear, as He has redeemed them. This faithfulness culminates in the person of Christ, who assures us that our salvation is secure. Hebrews 13:5 declares that God will never leave or forsake us, which grounds our confidence even when we encounter difficulties. Remembering God's previous acts of deliverance strengthens our faith and reveals His unwavering commitment to His people.
