How do we know God is faithful in temptation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us of God's faithfulness, promising that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear.

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, we find a powerful assurance of God's faithfulness: 'There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.' This passage reassures believers that while temptation is a common experience, God remains steadfast in His protection and provision. He knows our limits and will always provide a way for us to endure it. God’s faithfulness is foundational for believers; it means relying not on our own strength but on His promise that He will give us the grace needed to overcome every temptation. Understanding this cultivates a reliance on God's sufficiency in our struggles.
