How do we know God is in control during chaotic times?

Answered in 2 sources

Despite appearances, God is continuously in control, using all events for His purposes and glory.

Mark 13 emphasizes that although the world may seem chaotic and out of control due to sin and wickedness, God is actively in control. The sorrows and turmoil we witness are orchestrated by God, underscoring His sovereignty over all creation. This is echoed in Scripture, where we are reminded that God does whatever He pleases. Even in the face of calamity, believers can trust that God is directing events for their ultimate good and the glorification of His name. God's presence and control serve as a source of comfort for His people during troubling times.
