How do we know God is in control during storms?

Despite natural chaos, the Bible assures us God reigns over all creation.

In Psalm 29, we see vivid imagery of God's power over nature, including the thunder and the tempest. The voice of the Lord is noted as powerful and majestic, breaking the cedars and shaking the wilderness. This demonstrates that God rules sovereignly over all aspects of creation, including the natural elements that might cause fear. Believers can take comfort in the fact that God is in control, and we need not fear when the storms of life arise, for He is on His throne.
