How do we know God is just in Job's story?

Answered in 1 source

God's justice is evident in Job's restoration after his tests, confirming His sovereignty and goodness.

The story of Job reveals God's justice through the unfolding of events where Job, a righteous man, faces severe trials allowed by God. Although Job's friends misinterpret his suffering, assuming it is a punishment from God for sin, the book ultimately shows that suffering is not always a reflection of one's righteousness. God's declaration at the end of the book, in which He restores Job and blesses him abundantly, affirms that divine justice sometimes operates beyond human understanding. This narrative assures us that God’s wisdom and purposes surpass our immediate circumstances, reinforcing the belief that He is just and righteous in all He does.
