How do we know God is our portion?

The assurance that God is our portion can be evaluated by examining our thoughts, emotions, and life goals. If God is genuinely our portion, our thoughts will gravitate towards Him, reminiscent of how a wealthy individual thinks of their riches. Our affections will also align with Him, as Jesus said, 'Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also' (Matthew 6:21). Additionally, our pursuits will reflect this divine relationship; we will seek to know, enjoy, and be conformed to God's likeness, indicating that He is indeed our ultimate treasure and source of fulfillment.
