God's ability to save is demonstrated through His past acts of deliverance, as illustrated in Scripture.
In the account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we see God's power displayed in their miraculous deliverance from the fiery furnace. Nebuchadnezzar himself acknowledged that the God of these men was able to deliver them, stating that there is no other God who can save in such a manner (Daniel 3:29). This historical event not only stands as a testament to God's saving power but also reassures believers today that God remains mighty to save. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever, confirming that His saving power is not diminished over time. Indeed, all throughout Scripture, we see that God’s sovereignty and ability to save, whether from literal fire or from sin, is unwavering and absolute.
