How do we know God is powerful enough to save us?

Answered in 2 sources

God's power to save is demonstrated through Christ, the arm of the Lord, perfectly fulfilling the requirements for our salvation.

The power of God is perfectly revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ, who is referred to as the arm of the Lord. Isaiah 53 illustrates how the strength of God is manifest in Jesus, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, satisfying divine justice through His vicarious atonement (Isaiah 53:4-5). Furthermore, God’s omnipotence is highlighted in His ability to predestine our adoption as sons. The assurance comes from knowing that all whom the Father gives to Christ will be saved and none will be lost (John 6:37). This truth should give us confidence in God's unwavering capacity to save and keep His saints.
