How do we know God is present in our church?

Answered in 1 source

God is present in the church through the gathering of believers and His spoken word.

The assurance of God's presence in the church stems from the promise made in Scripture that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there among them (Matthew 18:20). This signifies that God's presence is not limited to physical locations or events but is tied to His people coming together in faith. The faithful preaching of the gospel also serves as a medium through which God's grace and truth are imparted. When believers gather to worship, they participate in the body of Christ, which is where God has chosen to reveal Himself and minister His grace, making the assembly a sacred gathering where Jehovah Shammah truly manifests.
