How do we know God is responsible for our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible affirms that God is the initiator and architect of salvation from eternity to eternity.

Scripture teaches that our salvation is indeed the work of God from beginning to end. Before the foundation of the world, God planned our salvation through Christ. This election is not based on our choice but solely on God's grace and purpose. Throughout the New Testament, we see that it is God who not only plans salvation but also provides it, carries it out, and sustains it in our lives. This assurance that God is in control strengthens believers, reminding them that their salvation rests securely in the hands of a sovereign God who will not lose any whom He has chosen.
