How do we know God is seeking us?

Answered in 1 source

God's seeking us is evident through His pursuit of our hearts and His invitations to come to Him.

The assurance that God seeks us first is foundational to understanding the doctrine of divine grace. As indicated in Isaiah 65:1, God actively seeks those who do not seek Him, demonstrating His grace. He initiates our relationship by calling us to seek Him. This is echoed in Ezekiel 34, where God declares, 'I will search for My sheep and seek them out,' illustrating His proactive love towards His flock. Knowing that God takes the initiative to seek us encourages believers to respond to His call, realizing that the desire to seek Him originates from His efforts in our hearts.
