How do we know God is with us during difficult times?

Answered in 9 sources

We know God is with us because of His promise to never leave us, as indicated in Psalm 73:23, where Asaph declares, 'Nevertheless, I am continually with thee.'

Asaph's testimony in Psalm 73 provides assurance that, despite life's challenges, believers can rest in the promise of God's continual presence. Throughout Scripture, we see that God has made a covenant with His people, affirming that He will uphold and guide them through their trials. The phrase 'Thou hast holden me by my right hand' illustrates the intimate care and guidance that God provides, reminding us that we are not abandoned in our difficulties. This truth is further reinforced by the idea that God uses our struggles to bring us closer to Him, teaching us dependence on His strength and drawing us into deeper communion with Him.
