How do we know God is worthy of praise?

Answered in 3 sources

God's character is perfect, and all He does is praiseworthy, which affirms His worthiness of our praise.

In considering God's worthiness of praise, we must reflect on His holy character and actions. Psalm 113 emphasizes that the Lord is high above all nations and glorious above the heavens. This means that His authority and holiness are unmatched. He never ordains anything that wouldn’t draw glory to Himself. Moreover, His love and compassion shine through His willingness to condescend to our humanity. The ultimate demonstration of this is seen in Jesus Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient unto death for our sake. Therefore, we can praise Him not only for what He has provided but also for His inherent goodness and faithfulness, always doing what is right and just.
