How do we know God justifies His people?

The assurance of our justification comes from the work of Christ, who bore the wrath of God in our place. He is described as our substitute, having purged our sins and made us the righteousness of God. According to Psalm 35:23-24, Christ intercedes with the Father, asking for judgment in His righteousness, which underscores our just standing before God. This justification is not based on our merits, but solely on His work, giving us comfort and the certainty that He will not allow any accusations against us.
