How do we know God keeps us from falling?

Answered in 1 source

We know God keeps us from falling because He has promised to preserve His saints until the end (John 10:28-29).

God's promise to keep His people from falling is rooted in His sovereignty and faithfulness. John 10:28-29 speaks of this assurance, stating, 'And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.' This guarantee stems from the understanding that God, in His infinite wisdom, is fully capable of preserving His elect. The concept of being kept by God not only assures us of our eternal security but also reminds us of the need for reliance on His strength against the many trials and temptations we face.
