How do we know God keeps us from falling?

God's promise to keep His people from falling is rooted in His sovereignty and faithfulness. John 10:28-29 speaks of this assurance, stating, 'And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.'
