How do we know God knows us?

Answered in 2 sources

God knows His people intimately, as expressed in Scriptures like Psalm 139.

Psalm 139 details the vast knowledge God has of us, indicating that He knows every aspect of our being even before we exist. Verse 1 states, 'O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me,' demonstrating that God's knowledge is comprehensive and personal. This relationship of being known is foundational for understanding our identity in Christ and the assurance of our salvation. Further, in John 10:14, Jesus declares, 'I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep,' affirming that His knowledge of us is an integral part of our relationship with Him.
