How do we know God needs us for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

God does not need us; rather, we are completely dependent on Him for our salvation.

The sermon emphasizes that God does not require anything from us to fulfill His purposes; instead, we are the ones in dire need of His grace. As noted in Isaiah 66:1, God asks, 'Where is the house that you will build for me?' This rhetorical question illustrates that God, being the creator of all, needs nothing from man. Salvation is entirely His work and grace. This challenges the human tendency to presume upon God's needs, revealing the truth that our salvation hinges solely on His mercy and the redemptive work of Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly on our behalf.
