How do we know God provides for us in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

We can trust God to provide because of His promises and historical faithfulness as shown in Scripture.

The assurance of God's provision during challenging times is embedded in biblical narratives and teachings. The widow in 2 Kings 4 represents the trials faced by believers; her desperate situation was met with God's miraculous provision through the prophet Elisha. This teaches us that God often uses our trials to strengthen our faith and reliance on Him. Psalm 50:15 further reassures us when it states, 'Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.' Therefore, understanding God's past faithfulness helps us believe in His current and future provisions.
