How do we know God remembers His covenant?

Answered in 2 sources

The assurance of God's remembrance of His covenant is found throughout Scripture, particularly in Psalm 74:20, which points to His everlasting covenant of grace.

God's faithfulness to His covenant is assured through His own declarations in Scripture. Psalm 74:20 asks, 'Have respect unto thy covenant,' reminding us that God is a covenant-keeping God. This promise is echoed in passages such as 2 Corinthians 1:20, indicating that all the promises of God find their fulfillment in Christ. Furthermore, throughout the Bible, we see numerous assurances, like in Isaiah 49:15-16, where God affirms that He will never forget His people. These affirmations build our confidence that despite trials and tribulations, God will remain faithful to His covenant, working for the good of His elect.
