How do we know God respects us?

Answered in 1 source

God respects us through His approval of believers, particularly through the offering of Jesus Christ.

God's respect is not directed towards individuals based on their outward appearances or actions, but rather through their faith and position in Christ. The sermon illustrates that God esteemed Abel and his offering, which represented the ultimate sacrifice of Christ. Therefore, as believers in Christ, we are made acceptable and worthy of God's respect. This is an incredible truth: through our union with Christ, God sees us as holy and blameless. Our worthiness comes not from ourselves, but from the redemptive work of our Savior, making us respected by a holy God.
