How do we know God's attributes are all good?

Answered in 1 source

Every attribute of God, from His jealousy to His justice, is fundamentally good because He is essentially good.

God's attributes are often viewed in isolation, but they are all expressions of His inherent goodness. The sermon points out that God's jealousy, wrath, slowness to anger, power, and justice are not separate from His goodness but rather are definitions of His good nature. For example, His jealousy is a righteous intolerance for rivals, reflecting His desire for our undivided devotion. His wrath against sin is an expression of His holiness, ensuring justice is served, as He cannot acquit the wicked. This holistic view of God's attributes encourages believers to trust in His character fully, knowing all He does is for our ultimate good.
