How do we know God's attributes do not change?

Answered in 1 source

God's attributes do not change because He is perfect and eternal; therefore, He is immutable in essence and in attributes.

God's immutability extends to His attributes—His love, holiness, and wisdom are unchanging. As stated in James 1:17, 'with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.' Because God is perfect, He cannot change for the better or for the worse. Any change would imply imperfection. Thus, what He was in the past continues to be true now and forever; His attributes remain eternally the same, ensuring that His character is always trustworthy and dependable in every circumstance.
