How do we know God's children are rich?

Answered in 1 source

God's children are considered rich because they inherit spiritual blessings and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The richness of God's children is rooted in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Revelation 2:9 states, 'I know thy works... and poverty, but thou art rich.' This poverty is not about material wealth; rather, it reflects the spiritual abundance that comes from being united with Christ. In Romans 8:17, Paul reminds us that as heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, believers partake in the eternal inheritance secured by Christ’s work. The best home, food, and clothing are all found in Christ, who provides full satisfaction and security for His children.
