How do we know God's chosen ones?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God's chosen ones because the Lord knows them intimately and has engraved their names in the Lamb's Book of Life (2 Timothy 2:19).

The assurance that the Lord knows His chosen ones is profoundly comforting. It signifies not just an awareness, but a personal and eternal relationship. This knowledge reflects God's special love and purpose for individuals predestined for salvation. As stated in Isaiah 43:1, God says, 'I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.' This intimate relationship assures believers that they are secure in His grace and purpose. Moreover, this knowledge is not subject to human merit or conditions; it is a sovereign choice of God, as emphasized in Romans 8:30, affirming that those He predestined, He also called, justified, and glorified.
