How do we know God's chosen ones are secure?

Answered in 2 sources

Believers are secure in their salvation due to God's sovereign choice and faithfulness, as indicated in Romans 8:30.

The doctrine of election and security of believers is central to Reformed theology. As Spurgeon articulates, those whom God has chosen, He also justifies and glorifies, as stated in Romans 8:30. This understanding reassures believers that their standing before God is not based on their merit but on God's sovereign grace. The eternal choice made in love entails a divine promise of preservation; God will not cast away those whom He has predestined. Thus, true believers can find comfort and security in the assurance that their salvation is rooted in God's unchanging will.
