How do we know God's control is over everything?

Scripture explicitly teaches God's sovereignty over the universe, emphasizing that no action or event occurs without His decree. Isaiah 46:9-10 states, 'I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning.' This sovereignty extends not only to the righteous but also to the wicked, who act according to God's plan without realizing it (Proverbs 16:4). From the smallest detail, like the numbering of hairs on our head (Matthew 10:30), to the grand scope of history, God's sovereign hand is at work. Understanding this truth encourages believers, especially in times of trial, to recognize that all events are controlled by a loving and just God.
