How do we know God's counsel is trustworthy?

Answered in 1 source

God's counsel is trustworthy because it is rooted in His unchanging word and perfect character.

The trustworthiness of God's counsel is anchored in His nature and the revelation of His word. According to Proverbs 2:6, 'For the Lord giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.' This passage underscores that God, as the source of wisdom, offers guidance that is true and right. Unlike human counsel, which can be corrupt and flawed due to our sinful nature, God's counsel leads us to righteousness and restores our hearts. When we align our decisions with the teachings of Scripture and seek the Lord's guidance, we can be assured that we are following the right path. By turning our hearts toward Christ, we ensure that the counsel we pursue reflects His truth and leads to His glory.
