How do we know God’s covenant is fulfilled in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The fulfillment of God's covenant in Christ is evidenced by His sacrificial death and resurrection, establishing the New Covenant.

God's covenant is fulfilled in Christ as He is the Mediator and the Testator of the New Covenant. In Hebrews 9:16-17, we see that a will only takes effect after the death of the testator, and Christ's death was necessary to establish the New Covenant that provides redemption for His people. The Old Testament sacrificial system pointed to Christ as the ultimate sacrifice who fulfills all requirements for righteousness. This is central to the concept of sovereign grace, as it underscores that salvation is a work of God alone, accomplished through Christ for those He has chosen.
