How do we know God's deliverance is reliable?

Answered in 1 source

God's deliverance is reliable because He is omnipotent and faithful to His promises.

The reliability of God's deliverance is anchored in His nature as an omnipotent being who reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The psalmist expresses in Psalm 119:154 his confidence that God will plead his cause and deliver him. This trust stems from a relationship built on God's revealed character throughout Scripture—He is the God who hears and answers prayer (Psalm 145:18). When believers approach God in humility, they can be assured that He responds with mercy and strength. Every instance of God's past deliverance reinforces the certainty that He will continue to act faithfully, thus fortifying our hope in times of trouble.
