How do we know God's elect will not perish?

Answered in 1 source

God's elect will not perish because Christ accomplished their salvation perfectly.

The assurance that God's elect will not perish is rooted in the nature of God's will and Christ's mission. As stated in John 6:39, it is the Father's will that of all He has given to the Son, He should lose nothing. This establishes the unbreakable link between God's intent and Christ's atoning work. Christ, as the second Adam, fulfilled God's justice by paying the sin debt of His people, ensuring that none of those chosen will ever face condemnation (Romans 8:1). Therefore, the certainty of salvation for the elect is found in the complete work of Christ and the sovereign will of God.
