How do we know God's eternal purposes are secure?

Answered in 1 source

God's eternal purposes are secure because He is sovereign and nothing can thwart His plans.

The security of God's eternal purposes is rooted in His sovereignty. In Revelation 4, even in the face of persecution and tribulation, we see John given a vision of God’s throne, a symbol of His ultimate authority. No external powers, including the might of empires like Rome, can disrupt God's redemptive plan for His people. The passage reassures us that God’s intentions to build His church and gather His people into His eternal kingdom are certain and invulnerable.
