How do we know God's glory is central to our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God's glory is central to our lives because everything is ultimately designed to glorify Him, as stated in Romans 11:36.

God's glory is not just an aspect of His nature; it is the ultimate aim of all creation and individual lives. Romans 11:36 states, 'For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things,' indicating that all of life, from creation to redemption, exists to bring glory to God. Every believer is called to live in recognition of this truth, with actions, thoughts, and prayers all directed towards reflecting His glory in the world.

Furthermore, in recognizing God’s sovereignty and greatness, Christians find purpose in their existence. Every trial, triumph, and everyday task is an opportunity for believers to reflect God's character and attributes. When we understand that our purpose is intricately tied to glorifying God, our lives gain significance beyond ourselves. This view reshapes our perspectives on hardships and achievements alike, urging us to respond with gratitude and worship to the sovereign God who upholds all things.
